If You let God in

If you take two people who love each other and make commitment to each other, never mind what the world thinks about whether they belong together; Or whether they are right for each other; Or whether they even should have the right to be married. If these two people choose to be joined together and they let God in and they give God a place in their relationship:

Then they will have a beautiful Marriage.

If those two people decide to add children to their lives, and maybe a dog or cat or some fish and if they let God into these relationships and make a place for God in between, among and with them:

Then they will have a loving Family.

If that family buys a house, whether it is small or large, or new or a fixer upper. If they let God into their house:

Then it will be a warm and welcoming Home.

And if that family finds fellowship with other families, anywhere they come together, in a home, in a school, at a sporting event or on the street, wherever they come together, whatever backgrounds and beliefs they bring together; if they let God into their relationships, even if they don't believe in the same god or attend the same church, if they let God in:

Then they will have a caring Community.

And if that small caring community becomes the basis of a larger caring community and creates a caring city and that caring city comes together with other caring cities to make caring states, and those caring states come together with other caring states to make a caring country and that caring country comes together with other caring countries and they let God into their negotiations and they set aside their small differences to see God's bigger picture and
they can finally make a caring World

If at ALL the levels at which we are in relationship with each other we open our hearts and we let God in, only then will:

We have Peace.

On our own we are not strong enough to withstand evil and the devil. We have to let God in. If we continue to argue over your God versus my God versus their God and to insist on NO God. Then tragic things will keep happening and Evil will continue to win.

We have to let God In.

My hearts go out to those in Boston affected by yesterday's tragic events.

"I believe God is deeply saddened by this, just as we are, but for years we've been telling God to get out of our schools, to get out of our government and to get out of our lives. And being the gentleman He is, I believe He has calmly backed out. How can we expect God to give us His blessing and His protection if we demand He leave us alone?" - Anne Graham

May God Be With All of You.
